Combining a high nylon content (77%) for durability with a poly blend for a killer balance of quick drying & comfort stretch. Tightly double weaving those fibers resulted in a material that beads water and deflects sharp brush/rocks.
Mesh lined vents pull air off your heat-producing quads during ascents. Doubling as extra storage, contents are kept secure up off your kneecaps.
A low-profile, offset front closure reduces bulk. While the tacky silicone strip keeps your shirt tucked in & prevents shifting under load.
Gusseted crotch & knee articulation let you navigate climbs or easily hop over dead-fall without over-stressing seams.
8 strategically located wide loops keep your favorite 1.5" belt secure and the curved waistband ensures clean contact with your packs lumbar pad.
The durable bonded cuff was designed to work well with full leather mountain boots or the narrower synthetic designs from Scarpa, Asolo etc. All waist sizes are offered in a regular 34" inseam, 32.5" Short or 35" Tall.
*If you order a short/tall option allow 24 hours for us to make those alterations here at our shop before shipping. -Thanks
How big are the thigh pockets?
The main two items we made sure would fit are the newer +/pro sizes phones for easy onx/map use. Plus most pack-style bugles will slide in without problem. We're fans of compact tubes and our thigh pockets allow for quick access & eliminates the hollow knocking niose as you move through brush. Also a great spot for gloves/beanie when you take them off for your final approach. -Thanks
What are the hip, thigh, and calf measurements on the 32 and 34 regular? Thanks!
Our Trek pant usually fits well on guys with big quads, the extended crotch gusset gives them a little extra room there because it runs down to mid thigh.
Hip | Thigh | Calf in inches laid flat
32R - 18 | 11.5 | 8.5
34R - 19.5 | 12.25 | 9
Thanks,
More of a summer early season pant? Also how is noise?
Hi Shawnn - We used a mid-weight material to give them the most versatility and would classify them as an all-season. Depends on the person, but the only time I heat up in them is when it's 75+ and I'm pushing it hard. The double woven material feels light but it has a tight weave on the face which blocks wind allowing you to add a baselayer & run them pretty comfortably into late oct/nov.
Noise- Right out of the box they will have some swish to them if you're used to a silent pant, but as they get worn through brush etc. & washed a couple times they will soften/quiet up. We tested a ton of different materials and decided that we'd rather have them still be killer the 10th wknd you wear them rather than they be breaking down because we started too soft to start with. 30 day return window if you want to give them a shot around the house first - Chad
Is there an option for a leg zipper so that they can be taken off while leaving boots on?
No not on my Trek pant, this is more my everyday pant. However, The Atigun wind/rain pant yes they can be zipped up & easily revoved without taking off boots when the weather breaks & you want to shed that layer. - Chad
